Chantal took us on a walking safari through Lake Mburo National Park, where we saw tons of zebras and even baby giraffes! It was so cool to be able to walk alongside these animals. Chantal was an awesome guide, so down to earth and personable and full of knowledge. She taught us a lot about the park and the wildlife in it. We also saw a mama warthog with her baby as they hid in an anteater burrow, and Chantal got just as excited as we did to see the mama warthog back into the burrow, facing outward at the threat of facing a predator. Lake Mburo was one of the smaller stops on our tour, but we had a surprisingly great time.

L. Mburo National Park is home to zebras, giraffes, warthogs, impala, and the elusive eland. Our great guide Chantal led us on a walking safari. She pointed out plants, birds, and mammals with details on how to see them, how to approach or step back. Chantal showed a great passion for her work and the residents of the park. It was a great time!
